District 1 Singapore

DISTRICT 1 TRENDS & INSIGHTS

Stats last updated: 1 Feb 2026

District 1 spans Marina Bay, Raffles Place, and the Downtown Core — the powerhouse zones that drive Singapore’s financial pulse. If you’re wondering why penthouses here command sky-high prices, this is why.

These areas fall within postal sectors 01 to 06 (first two digits of the postal code).

Here, you’ll find a data-driven look at what’s truly happening on the ground: secondary sales activity (resale private condos), standout condos, profitable transactions, and the pricing trends behind them.

The Clift was the first District 1 condo I transacted, and it remains my only National Day closing. I showed a German expat one of the loft units at 6pm while the rest of Singapore was preparing for fireworks.

After considering another unit in District 9, he went with The Clift.

That deal turned into the first of many referrals from him over the years.
