Sengkang (盛港), a vibrant new town in the northeast region of Singapore. Part of the North East CDC, it is well-connected by Sengkang MRT/LRT stations and major expressways like the TPE, KPE, and CTE.

Originally a fishing village, it has undergone rapid development since the 1990s to become one of the most populous areas in the region.

Our flat also faces Paya Lebar Air Base, which allows us to see the military planes take off. The noise might be bothersome to some but we enjoy it.

My daughter is in absolute awe of the playgrounds our estate has, she has three playgrounds to choose from, and even one with an actual sand pit!
